Gallica Wine
St. Helena, California
About
Gallica is a small, hands-on family winemaking endeavor from seasoned Napa winemaker, Rosemary Cakebread. Gallica represents the culmination of Rosemary’s longtime desire to make wines from unique sites, work side-by-side with committed growers, and explore alternative Rhone and Iberian varieties in addition to the grape for which she is most known, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Rosemary relies on simple winemaking practices while lavishing in the detail. Her goal is to fashion expressive yet balanced wines that represent the very best of any given vintage and region.
In addition to Gallica’s estate fruit, grapes are sourced from family-owned vineyards on enviable sites from Napa Valley to Santa Lucia Highlands. Established in 2007, Gallica is located in a handsome barn in the heart of St. Helena, California at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, where Rosemary and her team organically farm heritage Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
